CueDrive (“we”, “the app”) is a DJ companion that streams and organizes your music from your cloud storage. We do not sell music and we do not host your audio files on CueDrive servers.
Account & data deletion
This section explains how users of the CueDrive app can request deletion of their CueDrive account and related data. It is the deletion resource linked from Google Play.
How to request deletion
- In the app (recommended): open the CueDrive menu → choose Disconnect → confirm Disconnect & clear data. This signs you out of the connected cloud, removes CueDrive’s stored OAuth tokens and library sync preferences for your account on our servers, and clears local CueDrive caches on the device.
- By email: send a deletion request to support@cuedrive.media from the email address you use to sign in (Google or Microsoft). Subject line: CueDrive account deletion. Include the sign-in email and whether you want (a) full account deletion or (b) deletion of specific CueDrive-held data only.
We process email requests within 30 days. After in-app Disconnect & clear, server-side tokens and sync prefs for that session are removed promptly; residual backups or logs (if any) are purged on the same 30-day window when you request full deletion by email.
What is deleted
- CueDrive account identity we store for you (email / display name / provider user id as held in CueDrive).
- OAuth access and refresh tokens for your connected cloud.
- Library metadata CueDrive synced to its servers (paths, titles, playlists, cues, and similar sync records).
- Optional diagnostics / support logs tied to your account, where retained.
- Device-side CueDrive caches (waveforms, artwork, temporary stream files) when you clear data in the app.
What is not deleted by CueDrive
- Your audio and video files in OneDrive, Google Drive, or other cloud storage — CueDrive never hosts your music library. Deleting CueDrive data does not delete files in your cloud.
- Your Google / Microsoft account itself (managed by those providers).
- Data we are legally required to keep for a limited period (for example fraud or security records), if any — we keep the minimum and only as long as required.
1. What CueDrive is
CueDrive is a metadata and playback layer. Audio and video files remain in your connected cloud account (for example OneDrive or Google Drive). We store only the information needed to sync, play, and improve the product.
2. Information we collect
- Account: email, display name, and identifiers from the sign-in provider you choose (Microsoft / Google).
- Beta / Play testers: if you join from the website, the Google account email you submit so we can add you to Google Play testing and honor a lifetime-free promise.
- Cloud tokens: OAuth access/refresh tokens so the app can read (and where you allow, write) library metadata and stream files from your drive. Tokens are stored securely and are not sold.
- Library metadata: paths, titles, artists, BPM, key, playlists, cues, and similar DJ library data needed for sync and playback.
- Usage / diagnostics: optional technical logs (for example sync or playback errors) to fix bugs. We may store device/app version for guest or support diagnostics.
- Website analytics: on cuedrive.media we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and traffic sources (for example referrers). IP addresses are anonymized where supported. This is separate from the CueDrive mobile app, which does not embed Google Analytics.
- Caches: waveforms, artwork, and temporary stream caches to make playback faster. These are derived from your library, not a music catalog we own.
3. What we do not do
- We do not upload your audio/video library to CueDrive as a music host.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not use your library to train public AI models.
4. Google Drive / Microsoft access
If you connect Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive, CueDrive requests only the permissions needed to list folders, read metadata, stream media for playback, and (in DJ mode) update playlists/cues you choose to save back to your cloud library. You can disconnect at any time in the app; disconnecting & clearing removes server-side account data associated with CueDrive where applicable.
5. Legal bases / sharing
We process data to provide the service you request, to secure the service, and to comply with law. We use infrastructure providers (for example hosting and database) under contractual obligations. We do not share your library with advertisers.
6. Retention
Account and sync metadata are kept while your account is active. See Account & data deletion for how to remove them. Cached media may be deleted when you clear data or when caches expire.
7. Security
We use industry-standard practices such as HTTPS and encrypted storage of secrets where applicable. No method of transmission is 100% secure; please protect your cloud account credentials.
8. Children
CueDrive is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Do not use the service if you are under that age.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change; continued use after material changes means you accept the updated policy.
